The beach club wings, which create a terrace at water level, are optional. Standard equipment and engine package prices are set out in your quote.

VAT: what to expect
Bekkers prices are shown excluding VAT because the VAT that applies depends on the buyer and the delivery.
- Delivery within the EU: a new yacht is typically subject to VAT in the EU country where it is delivered or registered. The standard rate in the Netherlands is 21%. As an illustration only, the AZUR 45HT starting price of EUR 1,359,500 would be EUR 1,644,995 including 21% Dutch VAT. Other EU countries apply their own rates.
- Export outside the EU: a yacht that is exported from the EU, for example to an owner in the United States, can typically be supplied without EU VAT, subject to proof of export. Import duties and taxes in the destination country may then apply.
- Business or charter use: different rules can apply to yachts owned by a company or used commercially.
VAT on yachts is a specialist area. We always recommend checking your own position with a tax adviser.
Options that affect the price
Engines
For the AZUR 45, the entry engines are 2x Volvo Penta IPS 600 (2x 440 hp). Upgrades are available to IPS 650 (2x 480 hp) and IPS 800 (2x 600 hp). Speed is 30+ knots depending on the engines chosen. The yard quotes the price of each engine upgrade on request.
Hardtop and comfort options
The aluminium hardtop on the AZUR 45HT can be fitted with a panoramic sliding roof, Bowers & Wilkins speakers and LED ceiling strips. Option prices are available on request.
Paint and finishes
Every Bekkers yacht is painted to sample. Any colour combination is possible, with examples including Daytona Grey, Dark Green, Navy Blue and Ice Blue. Interiors combine wood and marine leather, and any material is available on request. Bespoke materials and complex paint schemes typically add cost and build time. Your quote shows how your chosen paint scheme affects the price.
Delivery and transport
Transport from the yard in the Netherlands to your home port is usually quoted separately. Yachts of this size are typically moved by road on a low loader or shipped as deck cargo, depending on the destination. Ask the yard to include transport in your quote.
How a quote is built
- 01First conversation. You contact the yard by phone, WhatsApp, email or the contact form. The yard replies personally within one working day.
- 02Use and wishes. The team discusses how you plan to use the yacht, where you will keep it and which model fits.
- 03Specification. Engines, hardtop options, paint, interior materials and equipment are chosen. You can start with the configurator.
- 04Sea trial. You can test the yacht at the yard in Heusden.
- 05Written quote. The yard prepares a quote that sets out the base price, chosen options, VAT treatment and delivery. Ask the yard for current build slots; payment terms are set out in the build contract.
Running costs
Berthing, insurance, servicing, fuel and winter storage all add to the yearly budget. A common industry rule of thumb is to allow around 10% of the purchase price per year, although actual costs vary widely with use and location. The yard can help with maintenance, servicing and storage.
