Bespoke

One hull.
Your yacht.

A Bekkers starts from a proven hull and ends as something nobody else owns. Because we build in aluminium, without moulds, the layout is never fixed. Cabins, galley, helm, colours, materials and equipment are decided with you.

    Conversation

Where do you cruise, with whom, and for how long? We start with how you use a yacht, not with options.

  2. 02

    Design

Together with René van der Velden's studio we translate your wishes into drawings and a specification.

  3. 03

    Proposal

A fixed specification, price and delivery date.

  4. 04

    Build

Hull and superstructure are welded in aluminium in our yard in Heusden. You are welcome to visit at every stage.

  5. 05

Stainless steel, interior and systems are fitted by our own craftsmen.

  6. 06

    Sea trial and delivery

We test every system with you on board before handover, in Holland or delivered to your home port.

Why aluminium makes bespoke possible

A GRP yacht is shaped by its mould; changing the layout means changing the tooling. An aluminium yacht is built plate by plate, so the structure can follow the design rather than the other way around.

Paint to sample

At Bekkers Yachts we know that tastes can differ. We already selected some of our favourite colour combinations. Beyond these colours we work with paint to sample: every colour combination is possible on request and made client specific.
