During his career as being a key-supplier within the superyacht industry for the most luxurious builders in the Netherlands and Germany Leon Bekkers gained a lot of experience in boatbuilding. The most exciting about working on these projects is that on top of on-time delivery and being liable the most important is to deliver the highest possible quality and nothing less. Every superyacht project is a piece of art.

This kind of exclusivity and drive for delivering the highest quality is only possible if you fully focus on a small amount of projects and give your heart and soul and listen to the clients wishes. Within the range of yachts 40 feet up to 60 feet this philosophy almost doesn’t exist. Bekkers yachts wants to do things different. No mass production,
no fiberglass hull, no restrictions. We want to introduce the exclusiveness, aim for perfection, clients wishes and non-concessions from the superyacht industry within the aluminum dayboat & weekender market. OUR SUPERYACHT TEAM
DUTCH CRAFTMANSHIP
We can only achieve our goals by delivering the best yachts in its range and working with a team that covers all disciplines of building a smaller superyacht. With superyacht award winning designer René van der Velden we launched our first model the Azur 45. It offers the most spacious accommodation of it’s class, a customizable deck lay-out and it’s contemporary design and curves.
Naval architecture has been done by Menno van Dijk’s Studio Delta team who were the key players in designing a strong, comfortable and fast aluminum hull and construction design. While Navyk did the engineering of the aluminum hull. Another key player in our team is former director of the famous superyacht builder Moonen Yachts Emile Bilterijst. His decades of experience in both fast displacement yachts as superyachts makes him the best advisor in coordinating our projects to maintain our focus on creating something special.

OUR SHIPYARD
Our shipyard is based in the south of the Netherlands in the city of Heusden next to the Maas river. A perfect location in the heart of probably the most skilled yacht building countries in the world.
We are proud to say our yachts are complete Dutch build by some of worlds skilled specialists and with only the best materials and products that are world known.
Our Aluminum hull
Aluminum is the best choice of material if you want to combine performance, quality and exclusiveness. The material is lighter than fiberglass, can resist a higher impact, has a longer lifespan, is recyclable and customizable which is great if you want to give your client possibilities to change some parts of the yacht and lay out.
Our Stainless steel
Within the superyacht market one saying is repeatedly said; ‘’High polished stainless steel hardware are the jewels of the yacht’’. Bekkers Yachts brings you this jewels on the yachts. The side skirt and airflow grille on the hull, the bowplate, the mooring chocks, the bollards, the massive flagpole, the handrails, the dining table. All of this made out of high polished stainless steel manufactured by Inoferro’s craftsman.
Our Paint system
Our yachts are set up with a 7+ layered paint system on the aluminum construction delivered by skilled painters specialized in the extreme high demanding market. Not only does a beautiful metallic paint with your favorite color makes a blistering first impression, a smooth surface also gives the highest performance.
Our Engine room
In order to ensure high performance and the best feeling of comfort the area below deck is the most important. Our yachts are prepared for Volvo Penta IPS systems. This gives our clients the benefits of not only being fast but also have a low fuel consumption, emissions and the famous joystick which makes docking as easy as it can get. A powerfull generator, Gyro stabilizer, high quality isolation measures, Clear wake systems and many other options will give the best possible sense of comfort.
Our Accommodation
The mission our designer gets is make the most comfortable and spacious accommodation in its size with a clever layout. We use the best materials, Hespera matrasses that you only find in superyachts, plenty storage, good entertainment system and a real superyacht feel.
